Get to know me

Hello and Salam!

My name is Fizzah Noor Khan and here is a quick glimpse into my life. I was born in Haripur, Pakistan on January 14th, 1999. My family and I moved to Texas when I was just a little kid due to my father’s job and ever since then we have been settled in Texas. I have a very optimistic/positive personality and attitude, as well as love to laugh (will pretty much laugh at anything the slightest bit of funny)!

Recently, I graduated with honors in the Top 5% of my graduating class in June 2017 from Port Neches- Groves High School. I had a really fun, educational, and memorable time in high school, as well as some really cool opportunities and experiences. I was in all AP or advanced classes throughout high school and middle school, which I think really prepared me for my future in college. I was also a part of the National Honor society, a 2 year HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) course,  and different organizations, such as Key Club, Spanish Club, etc.

Moving on to the current time period, I am a sophomore at Lamar University studying Psychology and various other sciences. In addition, I am taking pre-OT (occupational therapy) classes for my concentration. I am currently involved in MSA (Muslim Student Association) and HSA (Honor Student Association) at my university. I am hoping to be active in other clubs/organizations as well. In the future, I would like to either pursue a career in psychology or occupational therapy. I am looking forward to my educational years at Lamar University!
